All our furniture is made from solid reclaimed teak or sustainable teak.

Environmentally friendly, recycled and hand selected timber is used to make our furniture collections. The reclaimed teak planks are over a century old and salvaged from old colonial buildings, bridges and railways.

Hand selection of the timber means the best grain, colour and characteristics are chosen to craft our furniture. The timber naturally has a very high oil content which means the wood is stable and durable, making it the perfect raw material to craft our beautiful furniture.

The recycled teak planks are then hand cleaned to remove the surface weathering or old varnish. Any nails are removed and any larger holes are filled using recycled wood pieces with a similar consistency and grain using skilled carpentry techniques.

Our sustainable plantation teak products are made using verifiable timber from government controlled sources.

Our furniture is crafted using traditional skilled carpentry techniques such as dovetail dados, teak dowels and rabbit joints for longevity. Modern elements such as fine stainless steel and full hide leather are used to create a contemporary feel to our furniture. Each piece of furniture is then carefully hand finished and lightly waxed to bring out the natural grain of the teak.
