Teak Creations - Environmental Policy

Our furniture is eco friendly, natural and ethical.

The majority of our furniture is made using reclaimed teak which is 80 - 100 years old and historically was used in colonial buildings, bridges and railways.

The large reclaimed timber planks are carefully hand selected for grain, colour and unique characteristics. The naturally high oil content ensures the timber is strong, dense and stable, making it ideal for furniture making. Where possible we recycle or use recycled products to help minimise the impact to the environment.

Where natural teak is used we source sustainable timber from responsible and verifiable government controlled plantations. This sustainability means that for every tree felled another will be re-planted.

Teak Creations aim to produce furniture that is ethically, ecologically and environmentally responsible, this ensures that you the customer can purchase our beautiful furniture with a clear conscience with minimal detriment to the environment.
